Hon Hai Technology Group, known as Foxconn, has appointed Michael Chiang as its rotating Chief Executive Officer for a one-year term starting April 1, 2026, succeeding Kathy Yang.

Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., also known as Foxconn, has appointed Michael Chiang as its rotating Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2026, announced in a press release. Chiang succeeds Kathy Yang, who held the position for the past year.

Chiang will continue to oversee Foxconn’s smart consumer electronics business while serving as rotating CEO. The company stated that the role is part of its leadership rotation program aimed at strengthening executive management and operational governance.

Foxconn Chairman Young Liu said the rotation system focuses on hands-on management experience and developing senior leadership through direct operational involvement. During her tenure, Yang advanced corporate governance and cross-unit collaboration initiatives. Chiang, who joined Foxconn in 1999, will focus on refining governance structures and optimizing resources to maintain the company’s global competitiveness.
