Fortem Technologies Wins $18M U.S. Army Contract for Counter-Drone Systems

Fortem Technologies has been awarded a three-year, $18 million contract by the U.S. Army to supply AI-powered DroneHunter interceptors and support services for counter-drone defense at Army sites worldwide.

Fortem Technologies has been awarded a three-year, $18 million contract by the U.S. Army to provide counter-drone solutions and support services at Army installations worldwide, announced in a press release.

Under the agreement, Fortem will deliver its AI-powered DroneHunter interceptors, which autonomously capture hostile or unauthorized drones using a net-based system. The company will also provide field-support services to enhance protection at Army sites. The first order under the contract is valued at nearly $4 million.

The contract follows Fortem’s recent selection by the Pentagon for the Replicator-2 initiative and a separate award from the Department of Homeland Security to deploy its technology for drone defense at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Fortem’s systems, including its SkyDome family of sensors and command software, are designed to detect, track, and neutralize aerial threats in real-world environments.
