Filevine Acquires Parrot to Enhance AI Legal Services
Filevine has acquired Parrot, a platform specializing in deposition transcription and management, to enhance its AI-powered legal services. This acquisition, announced on April 23, 2025, aims to streamline legal workflows by integrating Parrot's advanced deposition tools and transcript automation capabilities.
Parrot, co-founded by Eric Baum, Bryan Baum, and Tomas Scavnicky, offers features such as automated deposition summaries, medical records review, and AI-generated narrative summaries. The platform is designed for security and scalability, being fully HIPAA and SOC 2 compliant.
With this acquisition, Filevine extends its reach into remote deposition services and medical record management, addressing some of the most time-consuming areas in litigation. Parrot's CEO, Aaron O'Brien, along with his team, will join Filevine, bringing expertise from companies like Uber and Facebook to further innovate and enhance Filevine's offerings.
The integration of Parrot's services into Filevine's platform will be available to customers in the coming weeks, promising a more efficient and comprehensive legal experience.
