Faction Networks and Davolink have announced a joint venture to design and manufacture Zero Trust secure routers and networking appliances in the United States, according to a press release. The companies plan to release the first products, branded as Faction Pods and Portals, in early 2026, followed by a line of Zero Trust routers in the third quarter of the same year.

The collaboration between Faction Networks and Davolink will produce U.S.-made hardware aimed at commercial, government, and military customers. The devices are designed to implement Zero Trust principles across networking hardware, firmware, and components, with deep technology integration expected to reach silicon level by 2027.

Faction Pods and Portals will offer secure networking for operational technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) devices, enabling deployment within minutes and requiring minimal IT support. The upcoming Zero Trust routers will build on Davolink’s existing commercial product lines, incorporating Faction’s cybersecurity technology to protect against network vulnerabilities.

Assured Information Security (AIS) will collaborate with the joint venture to provide cybersecurity and information assurance expertise across government and commercial sectors.
