Douglas Elliman Launches Elius Intelligence Platform Built with Google Cloud
Douglas Elliman has begun a company wide transformation to become a technology focused enterprise, announced in a press release. The effort includes the launch of Elius, a new intelligence company built with Google Cloud technology. The initiative aims to improve operational efficiency and reset Douglas Elliman’s cost structure while developing proprietary real estate data capabilities.
Elius is designed to use Douglas Elliman’s private luxury real estate data to deliver predictive pricing intelligence, enhance agent productivity, and create new business lines beyond brokerage. The platform will be powered by Google Cloud’s AI models and infrastructure and will remain an asset fully owned by Douglas Elliman.
The transformation is organized into two tracks. The first focuses on streamlining brokerage operations through AI automation, consolidating technology systems, and reducing non commission expenses over three years. The second centers on building Elius to commercialize Douglas Elliman’s proprietary data, offering dynamic real estate intelligence and new digital products.
Elius will also support multiple business divisions, including Douglas Elliman Realty, Development Marketing, and Global units, providing tools for market analysis, lead generation, and international expansion. The company stated that the initial rollout of Google Cloud technology and development of Elius will be funded from existing resources, with new investments replacing current technology costs.
