Belgian startup Donna has raised €4.1 million ($4.8 million) to scale its AI assistant built for field sales teams. The funding round was led by Frontline Ventures, with participation from existing backers and several angel investors. The investment will be used to expand operations across Europe and North America and to strengthen product development.

Founded in Ghent by Nicolas Christiaen, Jonas Deprez, and Xander Berkein, Donna develops a multimodal AI assistant designed for mobile sales teams. The platform automates meeting preparation, note-taking, CRM updates, and follow-up tasks in real time. The company reports that users have seen up to 75% reductions in administrative work and 20% higher conversion rates.

Donna integrates with major enterprise systems including Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and HubSpot, supporting over 40 languages. It provides contextual briefings before meetings, captures notes automatically, and drafts follow-up communications with minimal manual input.

Since its launch in 2023, Donna has been adopted by field sales teams from companies such as ABB, Atlas Copco, and Liantis, and has formed partnerships with Deloitte, PwC, and Orion Global Solutions. The startup has established offices in Ghent, London, and New York, with plans to hire additional staff as it scales internationally.
