Dominion Energy Reports 54.9 GW Data Center Power Pipeline
Dominion Energy reports 54.9 GW of data center demand in various stages of contracting, according to Data Center Dynamics. The total increased 13% from the end of 2025.
More than 12 GW is covered by signed electric service agreements. Dominion said its contracting pipeline added more than 6 GW since the end of last year, compared with an increase of more than 5 GW reported in the previous quarter. "To put that in context, we have added more than 6GW of contracts, or 13 percent, since the end of last year," CFO Steven Ridge said on the company's third quarter earnings call.
Dominion, Virginia's main electric utility, reported a 15% rise in net income. Its planned merger with NextEra Energy is going through regulatory approvals, and Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger has set conditions including a six-year freeze on residential base rates.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
