
Dell Technologies Unveils AI-Ready Data Center Innovations
Dell Technologies has introduced new advancements across its server, storage, and data protection portfolios to support AI-ready data centers, announced in a press release. These innovations aim to help organizations modernize their data centers to efficiently handle both traditional and modern workloads.
The updated Dell PowerEdge servers, including models R470, R570, R670, and R770, feature Intel Xeon 6 Processors and are designed to improve performance, energy efficiency, and scalability. These servers are capable of consolidating legacy platforms, reducing energy costs, and supporting increased processor cores and performance.
Dell's PowerStore software has also been enhanced to offer AI-powered analytics, improved security, and advanced file system support. The new software release aims to simplify data management and enhance system performance with features like Smart Support alerts and enhanced zero-trust security.
Additionally, Dell has introduced the next generation of Dell ObjectScale, which offers improved performance and scalability for AI workloads. The new ObjectScale platform provides options for all-flash and HDD appliances, designed to accelerate modern workloads and enhance data governance capabilities.
These innovations are part of Dell's broader strategy to provide an end-to-end disaggregated infrastructure portfolio, helping customers reduce complexity and increase IT agility in their data center modernization efforts.
