DeepSeek Harness reaches 1.54 million daily users on DeepSeek's API, up from 429,000 in early October
DeepSeek has released usage data for DeepSeek Harness, its open-source agent framework, for the first time, Yicai reports. Harness had 1.54 million daily active users on DeepSeek's official API over the week ended November 4, up from 429,000 over the week ended October 7 and 271,000 over the week ended September 30. Users consume around 92 trillion tokens a day.
About 35,000 third-party plugins have appeared since the framework's release, and about 60% of users have created or installed at least one. DeepSeek is preparing a support programme for plugin authors and plans an official plugin marketplace, along with work on plugin API stability and security, AIToolRanked reports.
Harness is a software framework built around large language models to help AI agents manage and run more complex tasks. The figures cover users of DeepSeek's official API. On October 31 the Harness team published a technical article on designing a "super-agent" with a more autonomous agent system.
