Cursor Updates Pricing for Teams and Auto Plans
Cursor has announced updates to its pricing model for Teams and Auto plans, effective after September 15, 2025. According to a company blog post, the Teams plan will transition from fixed request costs to variable request costs. This means that the cost of requests will now depend on the complexity of the task, with simpler tasks costing less than more complex ones.
Additionally, the Auto plan for individuals will now contribute to the included monthly usage at competitive token rates. Previously, Auto was priced similarly to other premium models, but since June 2025, it has been unlimited for individuals. These changes aim to unify the billing system across different tiers and reflect the company's investment in improving the quality and performance of Auto.
