Colovore Expands with New Liquid-Cooled Data Center in Reno
Colovore has announced the groundbreaking of its third high-density, liquid-cooled data center in Reno, NV, as stated in a press release. This new facility, named RNO01, aims to expand the high-density colocation inventory and support the next generation of AI accelerator systems with rack densities approaching 250kW each.
RNO01 will feature Colovore's standard offerings, including liquid-cooling and large power circuits, which are essential for large enterprise deployments. The data center will be powered by Nevada Energy, ensuring reliable energy supply for high-performance computing needs.
Colovore's innovative infrastructure is designed to be compute agnostic, supporting both advanced direct-to-chip cooling systems and traditional IT infrastructure. This approach allows enterprises to deploy AI and machine learning systems efficiently without the need for costly retrofits. The Reno facility continues Colovore's mission to eliminate traditional constraints in AI deployments, such as cooling, density, and cost, enabling faster and more efficient scaling of AI capabilities.
