Cloudphysician announced in a press release Nightingale, a video foundation model that continuously monitors hospital patients and detects clinical changes between physician rounds. The company says physicians built the model using thousands of hours of proprietary clinical video and expert annotations rather than adapting existing open weight models.

Nightingale can identify abnormal breathing patterns, nasal flaring, tube positioning, delirium, sedation levels, fall risk and pressure ulcer risk. It runs inside hospitals, keeping patient video onsite.

A single local GPU can process 100 concurrent camera streams. The system is deployed across more than 150 hospitals in India, and Cloudphysician is expanding it into the United States.
