United Imaging Intelligence released an open source medical video AI framework that includes the uAI NEXUS MedVLM model, the MedVidBench dataset and benchmark, and the MedVidU Challenge.

United Imaging Intelligence released an open source medical video AI framework that includes the uAI NEXUS MedVLM model, the MedVidBench dataset and benchmark, and the MedVidU Challenge, the company said in a press release.

MedVidBench contains 531,850 video instruction pairs drawn from eight public medical video datasets. The company released two test batches containing 6,245 and 6,270 samples, along with a public leaderboard that evaluates models across ten measures, including next action prediction, skill assessment, and spatiotemporal grounding.

The MedVidU Challenge attracted 75 teams from 18 countries and regions. Four teams reached the final stage, and two presented their work at the ECCV 2026 MedVidU Workshop in Malmö, Sweden. MedVidBench recorded more than 30,000 downloads within about three months of its latest release.
