Cisco Unveils AI Security Innovations at RSA Conference 2025
Cisco Systems, Inc. has announced several new innovations aimed at enhancing security in the AI era, as revealed at the RSA Conference 2025. In a press release, Cisco introduced advancements in its Cisco XDR and Splunk Security platforms, designed to simplify threat detection and response using agentic AI. These enhancements include features like Instant Attack Verification and automated XDR Forensics, which aim to improve threat management and response times.
Cisco also announced a deepened partnership with ServiceNow to facilitate secure AI adoption at scale. This collaboration will integrate Cisco AI Defense with ServiceNow SecOps, providing comprehensive AI risk management and governance solutions.
Additionally, Cisco launched Foundation AI, a team focused on developing open-source tools and models to enhance security applications. This initiative includes the release of the first reasoning model specifically built for security applications, aiming to democratize AI security tools for broader community use.
