Cisco Adds Claude Agents and Dialog to Webex

Oct 7, 2026
Cisco introduced Webex updates that add Claude Managed Agents, collaborative AI agents, OpenAI dots integration, and a new customer service system called Dialog.

Cisco announced in a press release new Webex features that connect employees with AI agents across meetings, messages, workplace systems, and customer service. Claude Managed Agents will analyze data, generate content, and complete tasks using shared enterprise context without requiring users to leave Webex.

Collaborative agents can join Webex spaces, meetings, and calls, then complete tasks across Webex and approved external applications. Cisco is also integrating Webex with OpenAI dots through the Model Context Protocol, with plans to make dots available inside Webex as a personal agent.

Cisco also introduced Dialog for the Webex AI Agent platform. Dialog retains customer history and enterprise context across channels, continues working after a conversation ends, and coordinates with employees, agents, and company systems until a task is completed. Webex AI Agents use safety controls from Cisco AI Defense and monitoring through Splunk.

RoomOS 27 will arrive in November with native support for Google Meet alongside Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. Its AI Assistant supports 32 languages and can control connected room systems, while Cisco Cloud Control adds tools for workplace planning, issue detection, occupancy analysis, and room management.
