Gurucul Launches AI Risk and Response Security Tool

Gurucul has released a security tool that detects and responds to risky AI activity, including shadow AI, sensitive data exposure and excessive access.
Gurucul announces the general availability of AI Risk and Response, a security tool for detecting, investigating and responding to risky AI behavior, according to a company press release. The tool is designed for security operations center and insider risk teams.
AI Risk and Response uses behavioral AI, identity data and security context. It includes hundreds of detections spanning all 16 MITRE ATLAS tactics and the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications. It covers shadow AI, sensitive data exposure, risky autonomous agents, excessive access, AI supply chain risk and changes in behavior.
The tool connects AI activity with users, agents, privileges, systems, data and other security telemetry. It supports identity resolved investigations, automated or approval gated response playbooks and integrations with existing security and IT workflows. AI Prevention, which includes controls for selected high risk AI interactions and a lightweight browser extension, is available in preview.
