Circuit & Chisel Secures $19.2 Million for ATXP Protocol Launch
Circuit & Chisel has announced $19.2 million in seed funding to launch ATXP, a web-wide protocol for agentic payments, announced in a press release. The funding round was led by Primary Venture Partners and ParaFi Capital, with participation from notable investors such as Stripe, Coinbase Ventures, and Solana Ventures.
ATXP is designed to enable AI agents to autonomously manage the entire commerce lifecycle, from discovery to payment, without human intervention. This protocol aims to streamline business operations by allowing transactions to be initiated, negotiated, and executed by intelligent agents, similar to how HTTP functions as the backbone of web browsing.
Founded by former Stripe executives, CEO Louis Amira and CTO David Noel-Romas, Circuit & Chisel is positioning itself as a leader in agentic commerce, leveraging emerging standards like x402 to enhance AI-driven transactions across the internet.
