CGI has been selected by the Finnish National Agency for Education to provide development and maintenance services for Studyinfo (Opintopolku), the agency’s largest digital service platform by user volume, announced in a press release. The eight-year agreement is valued between €48 million and €80 million and represents the agency’s largest ICT procurement to date.

Studyinfo includes several services and applications that deliver educational information and national services for competence development and verification. In 2025, the Studyinfo.fi portal recorded about 14 million visits. The new agreement consolidates multiple previous contracts into a single framework covering maintenance and further development.

CGI will apply its AI enabled Application Factory delivery model to accelerate application development, improve quality, and reduce costs. The company also plans to incorporate green coding principles to support responsible software development. According to the agency, the new model is intended to simplify contract management, reduce costs, and increase flexibility as user demand continues to grow.
