Casepoint Appoints Varun Bisht to Lead Governance and Compliance
Casepoint appointed Varun Bisht as Vice President of Governance and Compliance, the company announced on its website. Bisht previously served as Chief Privacy Officer and Deputy Chief for Information and Privacy Governance at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Casepoint said the appointment comes as it expands across government and regulated enterprises, where growing AI adoption is increasing demand for governance, security, compliance and responsible AI oversight. Bisht will lead governance and compliance programs for Casepoint's government and enterprise customers. His responsibilities cover security, compliance, AI governance, privacy, data governance and the integration of cybersecurity and AI risks into enterprise risk management.
Before joining ATF, Bisht held leadership roles in privacy, information technology audits, enterprise risk and incident management at Amazon. He also worked at Verizon and served for more than eight years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve.
