Casepoint Wins $98.8 Million Department of War Agreement for AI Legal Platform

June 25, 2026
Casepoint has secured a $98.8 million Blanket Purchase Agreement with the Department of War to provide its AI platform for legal and investigative operations across multiple defense agencies.

Casepoint has been awarded an exclusive $98.8 million Blanket Purchase Agreement by the Department of War to supply eDiscovery software, support services, and training for its legal organizations, announced in a press release.

The agreement covers the Department of War Office of General Counsel, the Defense Information Systems Agency Office of General Counsel, and 28 offices within the Defense Legal Services Agency. These offices will use Casepoint's SaaS platform, which is authorized at FedRAMP High and Department of Defense Impact Levels 5 and 6, to manage eDiscovery, investigations, Freedom of Information Act requests, congressional inquiries, and declassification reviews.

The platform enables defense legal teams to replace manual processes and legacy on-premises systems with AI supported workflows that improve speed and auditability. According to the announcement, early users in the Department of War have reported reductions of up to 75 percent in manual document review time.

Casepoint’s platform is already deployed across multiple federal civilian agencies and other defense entities, including a five year contract with the Air Force. The new agreement allows Department of War legal offices to modernize their operations quickly without additional security reviews.
