
BGM Group Acquires Wonder Dragon to Boost Healthcare Strategy
BGM Group Ltd has announced the acquisition of Wonder Dragon Global Limited to strengthen its healthcare strategy, announced in a press release. The deal involves BGM Group acquiring 100% of Wonder Dragon's equity by issuing 38,165,290 Class A ordinary shares at $2 per share, valuing the transaction at RMB550 million. Completion is expected in the second quarter of 2025.
Wonder Dragon holds over 3,000 metric tons of premium Qingzhuan dark tea, known for its medicinal and historical value. This acquisition will allow BGM Group to expand its health product portfolio and market reach. The company plans to leverage its AI-powered decision-making platform to optimize tea production and develop new medicinal tea products, such as ginseng and goji berry Qingzhuan dark tea.
BGM Group, based in Chengdu, China, focuses on integrating AI technology, big data analytics, and biopharmaceutical innovations to modernize traditional industries. This acquisition aligns with their strategy to enhance their 'medicine + tea + health' product ecosystem.
