Baseten has secured $75 million in a Series C funding round co-led by IVP and Spark, with participation from Greylock, Conviction, South Park Commons, 01 Advisors, and Lachy Groom, announced in a press release. This latest investment brings the company's total funding to $135 million.

The funding will be used to support Baseten's product, team, and geographic expansion. The company has experienced significant growth, becoming the preferred platform for companies building AI-powered products. Baseten's platform focuses on making AI inference performant, reliable, scalable, and multicloud, addressing the challenges of scaling inference for custom, fine-tuned, or advanced open-source models.

Baseten provides a comprehensive suite of tools and infrastructure for deploying, managing, and scaling AI models in production. This includes model tooling and workflows, multi-cluster and multi-cloud infrastructure, applied performance research, and embedded AI engineers to support customers in bringing high-quality products to market quickly.
