Baidu Appoints Haijian He as New CFO
Baidu, Inc. has announced the appointment of Mr. Haijian He as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, announced in a press release. Mr. He succeeds Mr. Junjie He, who will transition to the role of Senior Vice President overseeing human resources and administrative functions.
Mr. Haijian He joins Baidu from Kingsoft Cloud Holdings Limited, where he served as executive director and chief financial officer. His previous experience includes roles at Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Mr. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in electronic engineering from Southeast University, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Additionally, Ms. Shanshan Cui will take on the role of Secretary General to Baidu's Organizational Culture Committee. Baidu's CEO, Robin Yanhong Li, expressed confidence in the new appointments, highlighting Mr. He's leadership skills and experience as valuable assets for the company's future growth.
