Highrise AI Appoints Mark Mendelman as CTO

Highrise AI has appointed Mark Mendelman, former Head of AI and R&D for the IDF Sigma Branch, as its new Chief Technology Officer.

Highrise AI has appointed Mark Mendelman as its new Chief Technology Officer, announced in a press release. Mendelman, a veteran defense technologist, previously served as the Head of AI and R&D for the Israel Defense Forces' Sigma Branch.

In his new role, Mendelman will lead the development of Highrise's cloud platform, which is designed to support mission-critical AI workloads with a focus on security and fault tolerance. His extensive experience includes architecting large-scale AI data platforms and leading AI research groups within the IDF.

Highrise AI, a subsidiary of Hut 8 Corp., aims to deliver a cloud infrastructure platform that combines bare-metal performance with full-stack orchestration, catering to developers and enterprises in performance-critical and security-sensitive domains.
