AuditBoard Acquires FairNow to Expand AI Governance Capabilities

AuditBoard has announced the acquisition of FairNow to enhance its AI governance offerings, integrating FairNow’s platform into its connected risk system to help organizations manage compliance with evolving AI regulations.

AuditBoard has reached a definitive agreement to acquire FairNow, Inc., announced in a press release. FairNow provides an AI governance platform designed to simplify compliance and risk management for organizations adopting artificial intelligence.

The acquisition will integrate FairNow’s automated AI compliance tools and governance workflows into AuditBoard’s connected risk platform. This combination aims to deliver a unified, AI-first system for managing enterprise risk, including compliance with frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001, and the EU AI Act.

AuditBoard stated that the deal coincides with the launch of its new AI solution, Accelerate, for governance, risk, and compliance teams. The company said the integration of FairNow’s technology strengthens its ability to provide continuous monitoring, automated risk assessments, and intelligent compliance support across industries.
