Ascendion and Philtech Inc. Launch AI-Powered Center in Cebu
Ascendion and Philtech Inc. have launched a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Cebu, Philippines, to enhance digital operations for over 285,000 employees across more than 2,200 locations of Albertsons Companies. This initiative, announced in a press release, marks a significant milestone in their partnership, focusing on AI-driven solutions to improve customer service, engineering, and HR operations.
The new center is equipped with Generative AI capabilities, aiming to redefine enterprise operations and service delivery. Ascendion's proprietary GCCAI solution will be utilized to drive productivity and transparency across core business functions. The center will also employ Ascendion's AVA+ platform to accelerate software delivery and the METal platform to connect Filipino professionals with high-impact projects.
This launch positions Cebu as a next-generation AI hub in the Philippines, highlighting the region's potential in AI-driven innovation and enterprise transformation.
