Applied Intuition announced in a press release the launch of Dana, an agent-based platform designed for developing, testing, deploying, and operating physical AI systems across different industries.

Dana combines agent-based AI with the tools, data, and infrastructure built by Applied Intuition over nearly a decade. The platform aims to support the creation of intelligent machines for real-world use, particularly those in safety-critical fields.

According to the company, Dana can streamline the development of physical AI applications for sectors such as autonomous and software-defined vehicles, fleet operations, robotics, construction, and mining. Internal and selected customer implementations have reportedly reduced certain vehicle development phases from months to days.
