Anthropic Joins Blender Development Fund as Corporate Patron

Anthropic has joined the Blender Development Fund as a Corporate Patron, providing support for Blender's core software development, including the Python API used by developers and artists to create custom workflows.

In a press release, the Blender Foundation announced that Anthropic has joined the Blender Development Fund as a Corporate Patron.

The contribution will support Blender's ongoing core development, including maintenance and improvement of the Blender Python API. This API allows developers and artists to extend the software and build custom workflows.

According to the announcement, Anthropic’s support will help the Blender team continue independent development and focus on advancing tools for artists and creators. The Blender Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to open source technology and maintaining APIs that allow both individuals and corporations to expand Blender’s capabilities under its GNU GPL license.
