Airtable Acquires DeepSky and Appoints David Azose as CTO
Airtable has acquired DeepSky and appointed David Azose as Chief Technology Officer, announced in a press release. The moves mark Airtable’s expansion into a multi-product, AI-native company.
Azose joins Airtable from OpenAI, where he led ChatGPT’s Business Products. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s AI strategy and product development, focusing on advancing its platform for enterprise use.
DeepSky, described as an AI superagent, handles complex research and analysis tasks such as market research and competitive intelligence. Its team of 15, including founders Chris Chang, Forrest Moret, and Mark Huang, will join Airtable. Chang will continue leading DeepSky as a standalone product, reporting to Airtable CEO Howie Liu.
The acquisition integrates DeepSky’s autonomous research capabilities with Airtable’s workflow platform, enabling users to connect AI-driven insights directly to operational execution.
