AGCO Unveils AI and Autonomous Solutions at Tech Day 2025
AGCO showcased its latest precision agriculture technologies during its annual Tech Day at the Götz Agrardienst farm in Markt Indersdorf, Germany, announced in a press release. The event, held from September 30 to October 1, highlighted innovations designed to increase yields and boost profitability for farmers.
AGCO's new precision ag solutions, under the brand PTx™, were featured prominently. These technologies are adaptable for use on existing mixed-fleet equipment, as well as factory-fitted for original equipment manufacturers. Notably, the PTx FarmENGAGE platform, launched in August, was introduced as the industry's only digital platform capable of managing operations across multiple equipment brands.
The event also demonstrated AGCO's autonomous solutions, such as the PTx Trimble's Outrun technology, which is already in production for grain handling and now extends to fertilization and tillage applications. This technology, showcased on Fendt 900 Vario tractors, aims to improve efficiency and address labor shortages.
AGCO's commitment to AI-driven solutions was further exemplified by the SymphonyVision system, which reduces chemical usage by up to 70% through targeted spraying, and the RowPilot system for mechanical weeding. These innovations underscore AGCO's goal to deliver comprehensive autonomous solutions for the entire crop cycle by 2030.
