A-Comm Technologies Opens Public Comment on Agentic Commerce Evidence Standard

July 20, 2026
A-Comm Technologies has opened public comment on its open-source A-Comm Evidence Protocol (AEP), designed to provide a tamper-evident record for AI agent transactions in commerce.

A-Comm Technologies has opened public comment on the draft version of its open-source A-Comm Evidence Protocol (AEP), announced in a press release. The comment period runs through August 14, 2026.

The AEP aims to create a verifiable, tamper-evident record of every transaction involving AI agents. It generates an adjudication-ready chain of evidence that captures each step from discovery and authorization to fulfillment. This complete record can be independently verified by any party in a dispute.

The protocol provides observability of agent actions, traceability from consumer intent to transaction settlement, and auditability for all participants. The open-source standard is Apache 2.0-licensed and designed to interoperate with existing agentic commerce protocols without imposing liability or modifying outcomes.

A-Comm stated that submissions for comment are open to anyone involved in building or securing agentic commerce systems. All feedback will be logged publicly, contributing to the development of the final version of the standard.
