Agentic AI Foundation Adds Four Open Agent Projects

The Agentic AI Foundation has added Agent Skills, Open Responses, OpenEnv and OpenSandbox, bringing its portfolio to 10 hosted projects.

The Agentic AI Foundation has added four projects contributed by Anthropic, OpenAI, Hugging Face and Alibaba Group, as announced in a press release. The additions bring the foundation to 10 hosted projects, compared with three when it launched in December 2025.

Agent Skills, contributed by Anthropic, packages instructions, scripts and resources that agents can load when needed. Open Responses, contributed by OpenAI, provides a shared specification for requests, outputs, streaming events and tools across multiple model providers.

OpenEnv, contributed by Hugging Face, provides container based environments for training and evaluating agents. OpenSandbox, contributed by Alibaba Group, provides sandbox APIs and runtimes based on Docker and Kubernetes for uses including coding agents, GUI agents, agent evaluation and AI code execution.
