Hi there,
Welcome to this week's edition of AI In Education Weekly.

This edition also covers Greenville Technical College's planned applied AI and cybersecurity center, Ohio State's partnership with Google, and new AI tools from Nuventive and Promethean.
Other stories examine how schools are managing AI risks and student trust. DMV Unplugged and other groups have asked major districts to disable YouTube and Google Gemini on school devices, Turnitin has expanded AI writing detection to three additional languages, and a Harvard Center for Digital Thriving report looks at how an emphasis on AI cheating detection can affect relationships between students and teachers.
