Turnitin Adds AI Writing Detection for Dutch, German and Turkish

Turnitin has expanded its AI writing detection system to submissions in Dutch, German and Turkish. The feature now supports seven languages and is available through Turnitin Originality and iThenticate 2.0.

Turnitin added AI writing detection for submissions in Dutch, German and Turkish, the company announced in a press release. The addition expands language support beyond English, Spanish, Japanese and Arabic.

The feature reports the overall percentage of content identified as likely AI generated. It also integrates with existing learning management systems and educator grading workflows.

Detection for the three additional languages is available through Turnitin Originality and as an add on for iThenticate 2.0 customers.
