Greenville Technical College Plans AI and Cybersecurity Center
Greenville Technical College plans to build the Center for Applied AI and Cyber Resiliency at its Barton Campus, the college said in a press release. The 59,315 square foot facility will contain 18 specialized labs and serve more than 6,600 students each year.
The center will include a student led Security Operations Center for training in cyber defense, security monitoring and incident response. Computing, networking, systems and hardware labs will support programs in computer technology, cybersecurity operations, digital forensics, AI and emerging technologies.
The college expects every student to take at least one course in the building. The center will also provide corporate training in applied AI and cyber resiliency for workers in the region.
