X-Humanoid’s Embodied Tien Kung 3.0 Wins Beijing Robot Warrior Challenge with Full Autonomy
Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, known as X-Humanoid, announced in a press release that its Embodied Tien Kung 3.0 robot won the inaugural Beijing Yizhuang Robot Warrior Challenge held on April 18, 2026. The humanoid completed the course entirely autonomously, handling multiple tasks modeled on real-world high-risk conditions such as obstacle crossing, pendulum traversal, and barrier breaching.
Embodied Tien Kung 3.0 was the only full-size robot in the competition and achieved the highest overall score. It operated without remote control, preset scripts, or human assistance, powered by X-Humanoid’s proprietary Wise KaiWu embodied intelligence platform that manages perception, planning, control, and fault recovery in a closed loop.
The robot’s performance relied on four integrated technologies: hierarchical control architecture, multimodal terrain perception, global path and local foot placement optimization, and dynamic full-body motion control. These systems enabled it to maintain stable, continuous movement across uneven terrain and dynamic obstacles.
According to the company, the challenge was designed to simulate disaster response and hazardous environments. X-Humanoid also collaborated with university teams through open hardware and software interfaces, generating validation data for applications in rescue, chemical operations, and firefighting. The company stated that the same technology can be adapted for industrial, logistics, and commercial service use.
