C3 AI Introduces C3 Code for Automated Enterprise AI Application Development

C3 AI has announced the general availability of C3 Code, a new enterprise AI development platform that automates the entire application lifecycle, according to a company press release. The system enables users to describe business requirements in natural language, with AI agents handling application design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

C3 Code incorporates capabilities from the C3 Agentic AI Platform, allowing business analysts, developers, and data scientists to build production-grade AI applications in hours. It includes pre-built AI applications across industries such as manufacturing, energy, financial services, defense, utilities, and healthcare.

The platform features a unified data abstraction layer called the C3 AI Type System, pre-built machine learning models for use cases like anomaly detection and predictive maintenance, and governed deployment pipelines with built-in security and access controls. C3 Code is designed to be large language model agnostic, supporting integration with multiple LLM providers and allowing enterprises to retain full portability of their applications and data.

In internal evaluations, C3 Code received an overall score of 9.2 out of 10, outperforming comparable offerings from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Palantir in areas such as domain intelligence and enterprise fit.
