ANELLO Photonics Navigation System Selected for BlackSea Technologies Chaser Vessel
In a press release, ANELLO Photonics announced that its Maritime Inertial Navigation System (INS) has been selected for integration into BlackSea Technologies' Chaser autonomous surface vessel. The system was chosen following successful demonstrations on the GARC platform.
The ANELLO Maritime INS is built on the company’s Silicon Photonics Optical Gyroscope technology and provides precise positioning and heading without reliance on external signals. This allows the Chaser vessel to maintain navigation accuracy in environments where GPS is unavailable or disrupted.
BlackSea Technologies' Chaser platform is designed for missions such as surveillance and security operations. The integration of ANELLO’s system enables continuous navigation performance across contested and GNSS-denied areas, supporting reliable operation for uncrewed maritime missions.
