A global medical device manufacturer achieved a 42 percent average proficiency gain in just 13 days using Workera's workforce upskilling platform, announced in a press release. The analysis covered more than 830 participants and found that the company reached Workera's top performance tier for learning velocity, improving skill acquisition speed four times faster than industry norms.

Participants advanced from foundational to accomplished proficiency in less than two months, averaging a learning speed of 39 points per week compared to the typical 5 to 10 points. Core technical programs saw a 53 percent average score increase in about two weeks, while global enterprise programs improved by 44 percent in under 15 days.

Workera's data also showed that 78 percent of employees underestimated their own skills, leading to more targeted training and reduced redundancy. The manufacturer achieved Level 5 maturity in teamwork, with 84 percent of employees rated as accomplished, and strong results in generative AI and digital leadership capabilities at Level 4 maturity.

According to Workera, the results demonstrate that verified measurement and personalized development can significantly accelerate workforce transformation in regulated industries such as medical device manufacturing.
