Wolfbox launches K9 Pro dash cam with AI noise reduction
Wolfbox launched the K9 Pro, a three channel dash cam with color cabin recording in low light and AI noise reduction, the company said in a press release. The system records 4K HDR video from its front camera and 2.5K video from its cabin and rear cameras at 30 frames per second.
The cabin camera uses a 1/1.88 inch sensor, an F1.5 aperture and an AI image signal processor to retain color in dim conditions. It switches to black and white infrared recording in very dark settings. A physical cover can block the cabin lens, while audio recording is controlled separately.
Two digital microphones and an AI algorithm reduce road, wind, engine and music noise while enhancing speech. Wolfbox said its tests at speeds of 38 to 41 mph showed about a 60% reduction in background noise when the feature was active.
The K9 Pro also includes GPS, WiFi 6, a 3 inch touchscreen and support for SD cards up to 2 TB. It is available in the United States through Wolfbox and Amazon for $499.99 without an SD card.
