Vertice Launches Ana AI Agent for Software Negotiations

Ana can negotiate software purchases autonomously or assist procurement teams with pricing data, outcome forecasts and vendor communications.

Vertice announced in a press release the launch of Ana, an AI agent that negotiates software purchases. Procurement teams can use Ana autonomously or as a copilot, with controls for objectives, tone and review processes.

Ana can manage several negotiations at once, create strategies for different scenarios, forecast outcomes and draft vendor communications. Its features include real time price benchmarks, peer comparisons, vendor specific tactics, analysis of alternative providers and a searchable record of its reasoning and dialogue.

The agent uses a dataset covering more than 250,000 negotiated contracts, $75 billion in indirect spending, 2 million price points and 32,000 software vendors. Vertice says Ana has completed more than 4,000 live negotiations, delivering average savings of 18% and shortening purchasing cycles by 15 days.
