Vaital and PITT OHIO have launched N@TE, a new AI-driven system designed to automate email-based order management in the freight industry. Announced in a press release, N@TE aims to transform logistics operations by significantly reducing the time and cost associated with processing inbound Bills of Lading (BOL).

The system, which is built on Microsoft Azure, offers a 30-60X increase in efficiency for email order processing and achieves over 99% accuracy in order extraction and fulfillment. This innovation allows trucking companies to handle thousands of emails per day with minimal manual intervention, integrating seamlessly with existing transportation management systems (TMS).

PITT OHIO, a leading U.S. carrier, has already implemented N@TE, reporting a 70% reduction in costs for pickup order handling. The system's ability to deliver near-instant response times without requiring changes to existing workflows makes it a valuable tool for enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in the logistics sector.
