Trimble Introduces AI Tools for Fleet and Logistics Operations

Trimble introduced AI tools for fleet routing, driver assistance, maintenance and transportation workflows at its 2026 Insight Conference, the company said in a press release. Trimble reports that its AI invoice processing saved more than 136,000 minutes across 19,500 invoices compared with manual entry.

Trimble CoPilot Driver Assistant provides hands free, natural language navigation for finding fuel and parking and managing hours of service limits. Route Orchestration for PC*Miler combines planning, execution, shipment visibility and settlement, while Appian Fleet Assistant creates multi stop route plans based on operating rules.

TMT Fleet Maintenance AI Invoice Scanning can process batches of up to 100 vendor PDF invoices and map repairs to VMRS codes. Other additions include trailer orchestration tools, browser based updates for several transportation management systems and Trimble Arc Agent, which automates tasks including order entry, contract intake and quote requests while leaving final approval to users.

The products were available for customer preview or deployment at the conference, depending on product versions, fees and terms. Trimble Insight runs from September 27 to September 29 in San Diego.
