Ultima Genomics and BaseClear Bring UG200 Sequencing Services to Europe
Ultima Genomics and BaseClear announced in a press release that BaseClear has adopted Ultima's UG200 Platform and will offer sequencing services in Europe and globally. BaseClear will become the first Ultima Certified Service Provider in Europe.
BaseClear will provide an automated workflow from sample receipt through genomic extraction, library preparation, sequencing, and data delivery. The services are intended for applications including biomarker discovery, clinical research, pharmacogenomic studies, enzyme discovery, transcriptomics, single cell analysis, whole genome sequencing, and metagenomics.
The companies said BaseClear's use of the UG200 Platform also supports Basecamp Research's Trillion Gene Atlas, which is designed to generate and model biological data at trillion gene scale. BaseClear launched its Ultima enabled services in July 2026.
