Stockholm-based AI startup Tzafon has raised €8.3 million in pre-seed funding to enhance its computational capabilities and launch its new AI agent, Lightcone.

Tzafon, a Stockholm-based AI startup, has announced the successful close of its €8.3 million pre-seed funding round. The funding will be used to scale its computational capabilities and advance its autonomous AI agent technology. The round was led by HV Capital, with participation from Streamlined VC, Kakao VC, Oliver Jung, and angels from OpenAI and xAI.

The company plans to use the funds to launch 'Lightcone,' an AI agent designed to act on behalf of users across various apps and platforms. Lightcone aims to reduce the friction between intention and action on digital devices, offering capabilities such as data input and task automation across different applications.

Founded in 2024, Tzafon focuses on developing multi-agent systems capable of automating complex digital tasks. The company leverages cutting-edge machine learning techniques and a proprietary AI framework to enhance operational efficiency for both enterprises and consumers.

With the new capital, Tzafon intends to rapidly scale its compute infrastructure to meet growing market demand and accelerate product development cycles. The company is also planning to make Lightcone available for direct customer access soon.
