July 21, 2026
Tuya Smart has invested in Robopoet's 100 million RMB pre-A financing round, aiming to accelerate the commercialization of physical AI. The partnership builds on the success of Robopoet's Fuzozo AI companion, which has sold nearly 300,000 units.

Tuya Smart has made a strategic investment in Robopoet's 100 million RMB pre-A financing round, announced in a press release. Existing investors Sequoia China and GSR Ventures also participated in the round.

The investment aims to speed up the commercialization of physical AI. Robopoet's debut product, the Fuzozo AI emotional companion, has reached nearly 300,000 sales in China as of June 2026. The collaboration between Tuya and Robopoet began in 2025, when Tuya provided its global AI cloud platform to support Fuzozo's development and market expansion.

Tuya reported that its AI ecosystem contributed to strong sales during the 618 Shopping Festival, with Fuzozo selling 40,000 units and ranking first in Tmall's AI toy category. Other Tuya-supported AI products, including Walulu and the AOOMII Smart AI Companion Robot, also showed strong market performance.

The company said it supports AI hardware innovation through its full-stack AI toolkit, including the Personal Voice Activity Detection model, Physical AI Foundation V2.8, WukongAI 3.0, T-RTC communication network, Physical Action Model, and OmniMem V2.0 long-term memory system. Tuya plans to continue expanding its global AI cloud platform and invest in emerging hardware developers worldwide.
