ThroughPut.AI Joins CDAO Tradewinds Marketplace for Defense Logistics AI
ThroughPut.AI has made its AI powered materiel flow and bottleneck detection system, ELI, available to U.S. Department of War customers through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Aisle of the Department of Defense’s Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace, announced in a press release.
The Tradewinds Marketplace is the Department of War’s platform for acquiring artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital, and data capabilities. The SBIR Aisle gives small businesses a direct path to present solutions to government buyers. ThroughPut’s ELI platform helps maintainers and logistics officers improve equipment readiness by identifying maintenance issues early and recommending corrective actions for parts inventory rebalancing.
The system detects disruptions in real time, filters out false demand signals, and accounts for supplier lead times and depot backlogs to prevent shortages. It is already used by the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army Reserve under multiple SBIR Phase III awards to improve aircraft and equipment availability. The SBIR pathway allows government agencies to move directly toward contracting without a separate competitive process.
