Temenos Introduces Gen AI Copilot for Banking Innovation
Temenos has launched the Product Manager Copilot, a generative AI assistant aimed at helping banks design, launch, test, and optimize financial products more efficiently. This announcement was made at the Temenos Community Forum 2025 in Madrid. The tool integrates Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and is embedded within the Temenos Retail core banking solution.
The Product Manager Copilot offers a conversational interface for product, IT, and customer service managers to explore Temenos' core banking functionalities and data insights. This integration allows banks to develop and launch retail products more quickly and effectively, enhancing their relevance to customers. The tool is available as part of Temenos' advanced and enterprise retail accounts offerings.
By leveraging Azure OpenAI Service, the Copilot surfaces insights from core banking data, documentation, and regulatory landscapes. It is designed to be flexible, allowing easy integration with new AI agents based on bank-specific data sources. This capability is crucial as a recent study indicates that 75% of banks are exploring generative AI deployment, with 36% already in the process of implementing it.
