Synergy Laboratories Launches AI-Driven Cervical Cancer Screening Platform
Synergy Laboratories has launched the Genius™ Digital Diagnostics System, an AI-driven platform for cervical cancer screening, announced in a press release. This system, developed in collaboration with Hologic, Inc., is the first FDA-cleared digital cytology system introduced to Alabama and the Gulf Coast.
The Genius™ Digital Diagnostics System integrates deep-learning-based AI with volumetric imaging technology to enhance the detection of precancerous lesions and cervical cancer cells. This advancement aims to improve diagnostic accuracy and efficiency for healthcare providers across the Southeast.
According to Dr. Tyler Jones, Medical Director at Synergy Laboratories, the platform significantly expands access to high-quality diagnostic services, especially in underserved or rural areas. The system allows for secure digital imaging, storage, and collaboration on high-resolution cytology images with remote pathologists, expediting diagnostic turnaround times and improving access to expert interpretation.
Synergy Laboratories' introduction of this AI-powered platform marks a significant step in their commitment to advancing women's healthcare through innovative technology.
