Supabase raised $150 million in funding led by GIC and acquired database platform Turso to support growing demand from AI coding agents.

Supabase announced in a press release a $150 million funding round led by GIC and its acquisition of database platform Turso. Supabase reports adding more than 1 million users and 4 million databases each month, with agents or AI tools creating 70% of new databases.

CapitalG, IronArc and SquarePeg also participated in the round. The new capital follows a $500 million Series F completed in June and will support database product development and employee liquidity.

Turso provides infrastructure for creating large numbers of isolated databases for agent workloads. Its platform will continue operating, while founders Glauber Costa and Pekka Enberg and the Turso team will join Supabase.
